AFTERBURN REPORT 2013
Human Resources continued our work making Black Rock City LLC and its affiliates a great place to work in 2013!
Our team pulled off a successful event hiring season, with some positive internal changes to the process to increase efficiency as this becomes a more and more complex operation to manage. We improved our hiring processes as well as management of other event-related documents, such as worker's compensation and MVR processing.
Several year-round staff were added to the ranks of both Black Rock City LLC and Burning Man Project during the 2013 season, keeping us busy in the hiring department.
In the training realm, many of our year-round staff were trained on group facilitation skills, and at year's end, we implemented an online harassment training module for year-round staff and managers.
HR looks forward to another successful year ahead!
