The AfterBurn Report is an annual year-end report which provides Burning
Man participants with an up to date overview of the Burning Man
Project, our objectives and the obstacles we encounter. Our hope
is that this report with help provide a context for understanding
the organization and people behind the event. The Burning Man Project
is the name we use to define the scope, scale and dynamic nature
of what we all do together. "The Project" includes a small group
of full-time staff, a larger group of part-time seasonal staff,
and thousands of volunteers as well as participants who take responsibility
for making Burning Man happen.
The AfterBurn Report will explain
what our various departments do, why they do it, what changes
occur year to year, where Burning Man's money goes, our successes
and failures, and our vision for the future.
